Last week’s Annual Meeting was a great opportunity for our investors, tech partners and founders to be together. During the meeting, we discussed fund performance, key market trends and investment themes.
We highlighted the close of Rally Fund V, a $240 Million fund to invest in companies bringing innovative approaches to enterprise technology. We’re in an exceptionally attractive market for early stage investment and we’re looking forward to taking advantage of the massive opportunities we’ll see over the next few years.
The Rally playbook focuses on maintaining valuation discipline, capital efficient growth and backing founders who seek active and engaged investors. The Rally team is led by experienced investors with a strong track record of outperformance through multiple cycles and a decades long history working together.
We recently announced the addition of former Google CIO Ben Fried, who worked with Rally Ventures for over a decade as an advisor and investor, and has now taken on a full-time role with the firm. We welcomed Holly Wilde, who joined as Finance Manager to expand our coverage in fund management and financial reporting. And, we heard company updates from Bugcrowd, Zingtree and Abstract Security.
A cohort of 18 new Rally Tech Partners joined the platform with Rally Fund V. Tech Partners provide unparalleled deal sourcing and operational support to the Rally team and portfolio. And, as a group, they’ve invested over $130 million in the firm. We’re grateful for the support of our existing Tech Partners and excited to welcome new Tech Partners into the fold.
